Wedding Season

So, wedding season has officially begun for us this past weekend.

We have two, that's right TWO weddings coming up on Labor Day weekend and my Cousin Lizzy's wedding at the end of September.
Lucky us, lots of celebrations!

This weekend we celebrated Jackie and Drew.

Can you tell we were having a good time? And really I just had to tell you about the genius as we left the wedding, on the way out, when we were tired from dancing, a little too much champagne, the hairspray had sweated from my hair, they had, wait for it.....

Sliders and french fries in To Go cups.....

 i mean.

Who was happier than me?

Pretty sure no one.
Also side note, the lead singer of the band looked EXACTLY like Ben Affleck. No, seriously.
You're just going to have to take my word for it.

Here's a little story

of a birthday boy who was a little grumpy when he thought his wife didn't plan anything for his big 3-0.

                                        (it's true, he tried not to let on but i know him too well)

But all was forgiven when he was surprised by a limo with all of his favorites and some fancy birthday bowling.

Um, Can We Talk?

By now it's pretty clear I have a Chevron obsession.

So when I saw this chevron lamp shade at Target, my eyes bugged out of my head.

Not figuratively, lit-er-ally.

So even though I have no place to put them, it shouldn't come as a surprise that i am purchasing not one, but two. And I WILL find a place for them.
