1st Last Place

Yesterday, I received this in the mail.

A note from my Grandpa Sal with a check for $11.25.

See, we are partners in my Uncle Bob's 'American Idol Pool' every year, and we have come in last place almost each year it's been running.

The best part is that we intentionally try and come in last place so we can win something, even if it's not the big money prize of first place.

The real beauty is my Grandpa not only picks the last place correct each year, he also pays for my entry fee.

So today, I am $11.25 richer for last place winner and 1st place winner in the 'how to choose a partner in Uncle Bob's American Idol Pool' .
